I am a Student studying Computer Science at La Trobe University. I have always been interested in the inner workings of electronics, especially computers. I have already been doing this sort of work in my home town, Mirboo North in South Gippsland and have recently saved myself $700 from HP by repairing my own laptop and have saved a friend money by building him a computer system cheaper and substantially faster than the 'brand names' can. I'm a student looking for work. I've literally grown up on the computer from birth. I've rebuilt my own computer 3 times over and have merged a few scrap comupters lying around together. I am in year 11 and studying a host of sciences but I will always be able to find time for this. I enjoy working on computers more than anything else and I've found this the best way to continue with this. There are very few occasions when I'm not free (outside of school hours) unlike other busy people.

While I lived on campus I worked as an IT Officer for the residential colleges, helping out people with any network problems, using computers with a range of operating systems & languages. I have a lot of experience with wireless home networks, troubleshooting internet connections and setting up home theaters (including Xbox 360 & Playstation). I'm familiar with Windows 7, XP & Vista, Linux and to a lesser extent Macs/OSX. I can easily do housecalls. NB: if you require same day service, there is a $10 surcharge.
